As part of the current exhibition About Us. Young Photography from China, we are pleased to invite you a to a conversation with Dr. Franziska Kunze, the new Head of Photography and Media Art at the Pinakothek der Moderne. The photography and art historian, who has taken over Dr. Inka Graeve Ingelmann’s position at the beginning of August this year, will be joined by the curator Dr. Petra Giloy-Hirtz to discuss questions of contemporary photography. This will also open up interesting perspectives on the works on view in the foundation’s current exhibition.
The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung has been supporting the photography and media art collection at the Pinakothek der Moderne since 2016. Among others, the foundation made it possible to purchase Nicholas Nixon’s important series The Brown Sisters and finances the exhibition series Photography Today, the third part of which will open in November 2020.
Due to the current hygiene and distance regulations, the number of participants for the event is limited. We kindly ask you to register by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that participation is only possible after confirmation.
