Joint Exhibition by Supported Artists
Final Year Projects of Garance Arcadias and Neringa Vasiliauskaité

At the beginning of this year the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung supported the two artists with their diploma projects at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München. From 7 to 29 April 2018 they are showing their final-year works as well as new pieces in the exhibition entitled Hold the Line at the Neue Galerie Landshut, which is located in a Gothic building called Stadel on Mühleninsel.

Garance Arcadias studied sculpture under Gregor Schneider and Michael Hofstetter at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München. Previously she had studied visual arts at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts à la Villa Arson in Nice. She uses the material glass in her experimental artworks on a regular basis. Neringa Vasiliauskaité frequently employs glass for her pieces as well. After studying stained glass in Lithuania, she graduated from the glass and ceramics art course under Norbert Prangenberg and Nicole Wermers in Munich.
