Artist Represented in Collection Receives art KARLSRUHE Prize

The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung congratulates the artist Neringa Vasiliauskaite for receiving the art KARLSRUHE Prize 2017! The prize is endowed with 15,000 euros and is awarded by Land Baden-Württemberg and the City of Karlsruhe at the annual art fair. The artist, born in Lithuania, is represented in the collection of the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung with an installation. In her works she employs dichroic glass, which creates color effects such as rainbows on its surface. Depending on the lighting and viewing angle, it changes colors. Neringa Vasiliauskaite first studied stained glass at the Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania. Today she lives in Munich and studies Glass and ceramics at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München.
