The Japanese photographer Rinko Kawauchi has been nominated for the global Prix Pictet for her works. Her photographs are on view in our current exhibition lebenswelt | life-world. On 4 May 2017 the Honorary President of Prix Pictet, Kofi Annan, will announce the laureate at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and open the exhibition Space with the works by the twelve finalists.
The Prix Pictet is a global award in photography and sustainability. It aims to present outstanding photographers who address the most urgent social and ecological issues of our time. The prize is endowed with a sum of CHF 100,000.
