Sponsorship of Glass Schools and Glass Courses
Starting with the course Freie Kunst Glas at the Koblenz University

The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung is starting a big sponsorship program in 2016. With this the foundation will promote international glass schools as well as glass courses at art academies in future. The first course to receive support is Freie Kunst Glas under Professor Jens Gussek at the Institute of Ceramic and Glass Arts in Höhr-Grenzhausen, Koblenz University of Applied Sciences. “We want to boost the material glass in contemporary art. Sponsoring further glass schools and glass courses at art academies is in planning,” explains Chairwoman Dr. Eva-Maria Fahrner-Tutsek of the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung.

The course Freie Kunst Glas has been taught at Höhr-Grenzhausen for fifteen years. It is an innovative institution for artistic training in the area of modern sculpture and work with the material glass. Its graduates and students receive national and international prizes on a regular basis. The multiannual sponsorship makes it possible for the school to realize exhibition projects, to improve artistic training as well as the technical equipment.
